The NTF Regional Roadshows
The 'No to Failure' project is now drawing to a close and our results are about to be published!
Three Regional Roadshow events all took place in March at which participants shared and disseminated the results and findings of the ‘No to Failure’ project. Presentations from key contributors to the project within each of the three regions were made, as well as a statistical analysis presentation from Dr Chris Singleton and an overview of the specialist teacher training and interventions used was given by Rosie Wood.
The project is the largest of its kind in this country to date and has contributed to the founding of the new Dyslexia-SpLD Trust by members of the above organisations together with The Helen Arkell Centre.
The Dyslexia-SpLD Trust was formally launched at each of the roadshow events and participants were invited to suggest what sort of work they would like the Trust to undertake as well as what sort of role they felt it could play nationally. These ideas are being collated and presented at the Trust's next meeting.
